The real reason we gave our girls a completely separate day was to build a space where they could truly focus on their own growth. Our girls got a day dedicated entirely to them, building a strong sisterhood and personal skills through sports like volleyball and basketball.
Meanwhile, our younger youth took over the Winnipeg Children`s Museum becoming train conductors, exploring water physics, and solving problems through hands-on play. By creating spaces tailored just for them, our youth are developing deep social connections and a true sense of belonging!
Most people think our farm trip was just about petting animals and eating pizza. But the truth is, we brought our youth here to step completely outside of their comfort zones.
By facing new environments and trying new things, our kids learned to problem-solve, build real-life skills, and grow closer as a team. Every single laugh, challenge, and pizza slice helped them form deeper friendships and build a true sense of belonging!

Art day was an absolute blast! Our kids sparked their creativity by crafting custom kites, the girls created beautiful designs on canvas, and everyone wrapped up the day playing out on the playground. 🎨🪁✨

What an unforgettable month! From exploring The Leaf, playing soccer at the Recplex, and splashing in water zones, to making kites at Art City, visiting the farm, and learning from local firefighters and police, our kids did it all. 🚒🚓🌱

Today, our Summer Youth Program split up for some tailored activities. Our younger kids participated in an important, gentle informational session learning about safe boundaries and good touch/bad touch. Meanwhile, the older kids took over the outdoors—fueling their energy with hopscotch, skipping, basketball, and football! 🏀🏈We wrapped up the perfect day by coming together to share a wonderful lunch. It is an outing our kids look forward to every single week, balancing vital life lessons with pure childhood joy!

Today, our Summer Youth Program kids took over Kid City, Winnipeg’s ultimate indoor play center! They spent hours exploring the massive three-level play structure, challenging each other in the laser maze, shooting hoops on the sports court, and bouncing around. To top off an already perfect day, everyone fueled up with some absolutely delicious pizza for lunch! 🍕🎉
✨Today, our Summer Youth Program had the pleasure of hosting a local firefighter for an incredible safety presentation. 🚒 He taught the children essential fire prevention tips in a fun, interactive way and spoke about their turnout gear and emergency vehicle.
We are incredibly grateful to this community hero for taking the time to inspire our kids and teach them how to stay safe. Moments like these truly build a stronger, more confident neighborhood! 🚒❤️

Our children in the Summer Youth Program had a wonderful opportunity to interact with members of the Police service, who shared valuable lessons on personal safety in a fun and engaging way. They also got an exciting tour of the police vehicles, making the experience both educational and memorable.
